Neko was presented to the SPCA in 2024  after being surrendered when she could not get along with other cats at home. She has a chronic flu condition in which she consistently has nasal discharge that is mild and clear. This condition is called chronic idiopathic rhinosinusitis, inflammation of the nasal pathway. It can be managed by consistent administration of mucolytic medication. This is to manage the mucous discharge that are present. This condition would most likely be long term. Neko is an amazing cat that is friendly to all people.

To ensure their safety and welfare, interested parties are required to fully mesh their windows and house gate to prevent the likelihood of “high rise syndrome”. This happens when cats get gravely injured or lose their lives after a fall from height.
