You are responsible for managing SPCA’s adoption and fostering programs, ensuring animals are placed in suitable, loving homes. The role serves as the primary point of coordination between adopters and foster caregivers, and internal stakeholders including the shelter and veterinary clinic teams. This position involves assessing potential adopters and foster caregivers, providing guidance on animal care and behaviour, facilitating clear communication across teams, and maintaining high standards of animal welfare throughout all processes.
The responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Manage adoption processes, including screening potential adopters, conducting meet-and-greets, and providing post-adoption support.
- Oversee the fostering program, including recruitment, training, and ongoing support for foster caregivers.
- Conduct home assessments and interviews to ensure suitability for adoption or fostering.
- Provide guidance on animal care, behaviour, and enrichment to adopters and foster caregivers.
- Maintain accurate records of adoptions, fosters, and animal profiles in the SPCA database.
- Collaborate with veterinary, volunteer, and shelter teams to ensure smooth operations and optimal animal welfare.
- Assist in community outreach, public education, and adoption events to promote adoption and fostering initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Provide support for ad-hoc events and SPCA-led initiatives as required
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Animal Management, or related fields preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in animal care, shelter operations, or animal welfare programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to assess animal behaviour and suitability for adoption/fostering.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care, animal welfare standards, and behaviour management.
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and attend adoption events as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our team as Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage (TNRM) Project Executive.
As the Project Executive, you will facilitate the smooth daily operations of a large-scale dog sterilisation project, promote high standards of animal welfare and provide excellent service to our clients. You will be well placed to make a difference for the animals by working on an impactful humane population management project.
The responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Meticulously prepare and maintain accounts and records, and regular reports (liaising with clinic for sterilisation and treatment invoicing)
- Collating data from SPCA, AVS and animal welfare groups for in-house analysis and generation of graphs and table for presentations
- Recording minutes for all meetings
- Checking and verification of documentation
- Management of vendors and contractors
- Achieve all project targets consistently and deliver high quality services to all clients
- Assist with the deployment of resources and ensure day to day operations run smoothly

Job Requirements
- Minimum of GCE ‘A’’ Level
- At least 2 years of working experiences in administrative or operations support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communications skills

The Head of Community Engagement will lead the outreach arm of the SPCA, with a strong emphasis on strengthening and diversifying sustainable fundraising streams, while driving meaningful community outreach that creates awareness and leads to actionable change to improve animal welfare in Singapore.
The responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Oversee a team managing SPCA Singapore’s communications, merchandising, volunteer engagement, fundraising, digital engagement, education, and advocacy efforts.
- Work closely with the Deputy Executive Director to develop integrated communication, outreach, and fundraising strategies that drive public engagement, inspire behavioral change, and build sustained support.
- Develop and provide recommendations on the overall Community Engagement budget, ensuring alignment with both fundraising goals and outreach impact, in consultation with the Deputy Executive Director.
- Monitor budget utilisation across all community engagement efforts, ensuring prudence while maximizing both community impact and fundraising outcomes.
- Conduct research to identify new trends, opportunities, and pertinent animal welfare issues, translating these into impactful campaigns that raise awareness, influence responsible behavior’s, and unlock fundraising opportunities.
- Drive and strengthen SPCA’s fundraising capabilities, including developing new revenue streams, donor engagement strategies, and partnerships, while ensuring these efforts are grounded in strong community engagement and advocacy.
- Conceptualize and implement innovative programmers and campaigns that deepen engagement with the community, empower individuals to take action, and contribute to improved animal welfare outcomes.
- Oversee the Community Engagement team, managing performance and KPIs with a dual focus on outreach effectiveness, community impact, and fundraising growth.
- Work closely with the Publicity, Fundraising and Merchandise sub-committees to strengthen SPCA’s community engagement strategy, expand outreach, and enhance fundraising performance through new initiatives.
- Proactively engage and build partnerships with volunteers, donors, stakeholders, and community groups to broaden SPCA’s reach, amplify advocacy efforts, and grow its support base.
- Lead and manage crisis communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and sensitive responses to incidents, while safeguarding SPCA’s reputation and maintaining public trust.
- Build, maintain, and navigate relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies, with familiarity in engaging on policy matters, compliance, and sector developments relevant to animal welfare.

- Provide support for ad-hoc events and SPCA-led initiatives as required, including those with both outreach and fundraising objectives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of working experience in a leadership or managerial role within community engagement, public outreach, fundraising, or the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, including developing donor strategies, managing fundraising campaigns, and/or building partnerships and revenue streams.
- Proven team management and people leadership skills.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, work collaboratively, and inspire team performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder relationship management skills, including engagement with donors, partners, and the wider community.
- Experience working with animals o in the animal welfare sector is an advantage but not required.

The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager is responsible for the coordination of fundraising events and initiatives for the SPCA. He/she develops a fundraising plan and actively suggests new fundraising opportunities.
The responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising action plan in alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals.
- Driving effective and creative fundraising strategies to diversify and grow revenue streams.
- Preparing regular profit and loss reports for all fundraising activities and ensuring compliance with charity and regulatory guidelines.
- Recommend and manage the annual fundraising budget in alignment with the organisational priorities.
- Maintaining accurate records of all fundraising activities and income.
- Providing timely monthly updates on fundraising performance and progress.
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with donors and supporters to sustain engagement.
- Managing sponsorship programmes and donation channels, including doggie box collections.
- Developing donor engagement and stewardship strategies.
- Identifying donor reactivation and upgrade opportunities, including lapsed donors and existing supporters with capacity to give more.
- Designing and implementing strategies to grow monthly recurring donations.
- Planning and delivering impactful fundraising events from concept to execution.
- Ensuring all fundraising initiatives are fully compliant with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
- Cultivating partnerships with corporate sponsors, community groups, educational institutions and other stakeholders to co-develop fundraising campaigns and collaborative initiatives.
- Exploring grant and co-funding opportunities in partnership with aligned organisations to increase financial sustainability.
- Representing the organisation at external events and networking platforms to build new alliances and fundraising avenues.
