Miso came into our care in December 2025 after a kind feeder brought him in for urgent treatment. He was found with fluid accumulation in his abdomen and chest cavity, a condition that required close monitoring and care. We’re relieved to share that the fluid has since cleared, and Miso is now medically stable.

Emotionally, Miso is still finding his footing. He is a sensitive, skittish boy who takes time to feel safe and trust the humans around him. He may not be the cat who rushes up for attention right away, but with patience, consistency, and a calm environment, Miso has the potential to slowly open up in his own time.

Miso would do best in a quiet home with an adopter who understands that trust is something to be earned — and that the most meaningful bonds are often the ones built gently.
