Cashmere is a Singapore Special deserving of a forever home in preferably an all-adult, single pet only household. Given his personality and background, Cashmere is wary of strangers. Thus, you would need multiple visits for Cashmere to warm up. Cashmere came to the SPCA as a stray through our TNRM program. Generally, he is not very confident but does very well when there is food involved. With sufficient mutual respect, patience and loads of treats, he is sure to welcome you home with a wagging tail and play time. Cashmere knows his basic commands like sit and down and tolerates certain dogs. Cashmere would need to be walked at least twice a day, for at least 30 minutes each. Do note that Cashmere has had biting incidents in the past. We are continuously working on tackling this issue and he has been doing very well. Thus, Cashmere is best suited for experienced owners willing to continue working with his muzzle training, vet handling and introduction to new people. Adopters will also need to engage in private training for Cashmere.
