- Corporate Wellness Programme
Studies have shown that animals can have a positive impact on mental health, reducing stress and anxiety, improving overall mood, and increasing feelings of happiness and well-being. With mental health being a key concern in today’s society, particularly stress experienced at work, we believe that the human-animal bond can improve workplace well-being.
In 2023, we are excited to launch our Corporate Wellness programme, which will allow our community and rescued animals to visit your workplace. This programme will not only help socialise our animals, increasing their chances of finding loving homes, but it will also provide a powerful boost to the mental well-being of participating employees. Imagine the possibility of leaving work with a new furry family member!
To support the programme, we will be collaborating with mental health professionals and training organisations to provide educational sessions, seminars, and interactive workshops to create a space where people can find comfort and healing through their interactions with the animals in our care. This will also provide workplaces with the opportunity to create a safe and nurturing environment for both humans and animals while promoting the positive benefits of animal companionship.
Of course, we understand that not every workplace is equipped to have pets on-site. That’s why we’re also offering an alternative option for companies, such as off-site interactions or even corporate visits to the SPCA. Our weekly corporate volunteering programs provide an opportunity for employees to bond with our animals while making a positive impact. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
The SPCA will be officially launching the Corporate Wellness Programme in April 2023.
The Corporate Wellness Programme will cost between $500-$4,000.
Selected animals that are up for adoption in the SPCA will be visiting offices for interactive sessions with employees + educational talk to learn more about the SPCA alongside general pet care information. Our SPCA staff member will be around to share more information on the animals and answer any questions that participants may have.
Cats and/or dogs. If employees are not comfortable with dogs, please request accordingly in the sign-up form.
Yes, adoption processes will run as normal and interested adopters will have to visit the SPCA to complete the adoption. Thorough interviews will be conducted with potential adopters to ensure we find the right match for our animals.
