Darwin is a handsome young tabby with a gentle soul. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet kitten who simply needs time, patience, and understanding to feel safe and confident in his surroundings.
Darwin came into our care in February 2026 after he was suspected to have fallen from a height. Since then, he has been recovering well and learning to trust the people around him. He is not the type of kitten who will immediately seek attention from strangers, but for those willing to let him adjust at his own pace, watching his personality slowly blossom is incredibly rewarding.
As Darwin can be easily overwhelmed by new environments, his future home must have a spare room or dedicated kitten-safe space where he can settle in during the initial adjustment period. Having a quiet area of his own will help him build confidence gradually and ensure his safety as he adapts to his new surroundings.
Darwin is looking for a patient and committed adopter who understands that trust takes time. With kindness, consistency, and plenty of gentle encouragement, he has all the potential to grow into a loving and affectionate companion.
