Eden came to us after a community feeder brought her in for treatment of a laceration wound on the tip of her ear. Despite initial treatment attempts, the stitches and scabs did not hold, and further investigation was needed. A biopsy later revealed ear cancer, along with a form of MRS. As part of her treatment, the affected tip of her ear was removed. Thankfully, the cancer was believed to be localised, and she has since been cleared of MRS.

Eden has been through more than most cats should ever have to endure. Understandably, she has her moods. Some days she tolerates handling well, and other days she prefers her space respected. She is not particularly fond of other cats, but one thing she will never say no to is food.

Now in her senior years, Eden is hoping for something she may never have truly had before — a quiet, loving forever home where she can spend her golden days in comfort and peace. She may not be the easiest cat, but for someone willing to understand her boundaries and love her as she is, Eden still has so much heart left to give.
