Temporary Community Cats Fostering

Temporary Community Cats Fostering Notice

This is a temporary fostering page for community cats that had been allegedly attacked by community dogs in the Ang Mo Kio, Buangkok, Hougang and Thomson area. Help us safeguard our community cats while the authorities look into the matter.

Community caregivers of cats in area can fill in the form below and the SPCA will review and upload it to the page within 3 working days. Caregivers can reach out to the SPCA once the cat has been fostered such that the post can be removed from the site.

Please liaise directly with the contact person (caregiver) listed if you wish to foster.

Do note that this page is only for cats that need to be fostered temporarily. For people looking to rehome their pets, please click here.

All you need to know about the process.

  1. How long is the fostering period?
The fostering period is for 2 months, till 31 March 2023.
  2. Do I need to mesh my windows?
The cats need to be kept indoors and meshing is required if you stay on the second floor and above. This is due to the high number of cases we receive of cats falling from height (at least five cases each week).
  3. Are the cats litter box trained?
The cats have been living the community and we are unsure if they would use a litter box. Please ask their caregivers for more information.
  4. Can I adopt the cat at the end of the fostering period?
Thank you for wanting to give the cat a forever home! Please liaise directly with the caregiver if you would like to adopt your foster cat.

Please enter both yours and the cat details in the form below.
