Scooby is a lovable and energetic Singapore Special who was surrendered to the SPCA in October 2023 due to a welfare issue. When he first arrived, Scooby was severely underweight, but with a weight gain plan, he has since put on a healthy amount of weight and is looking much better. Though affectionate, Scooby is still under-socialized, and he may come across as intimidating at first due to his strong build and cautious nature. However, once he warms up to you, he shows his playful, puppy-like side and thrives on attention. Scooby is an active boy who requires plenty of exercise, and he would do well in a home where he can expend his energy. Regular walks, at least twice a day, are essential to keep him happy and healthy, along with opportunities to explore and stimulate his senses. Scooby is highly food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and engage with his family. He will make a wonderful addition to an active household that can give him the attention and exercise he needs.
