Keiji is an intelligent, energetic companion who is looking for his forever home! He is incredibly smart and responds well to non-aversive training methods, knowing basic commands like recall, sit, stay, down, and paw, as well as advanced ones such as backup and chin. He enjoys cooperative care training and has learned to voluntarily participate in showering, nail grinding, and ear cleaning. Keiji has a deep love for his ball, often carrying it in his mouth while on walks, and he delights in playing in the rain and splashing in puddles. He is also a connoisseur of fine cuisine, favoring baked chicken thigh, minced meat, and various fruits and vegetables like durian, pumpkin, and white radish. While wary around new environments, people, and dogs, Keiji’s true playful and affectionate nature shines through with proper introductions and management. We recommend a home with an experienced trainer, no kids or other dogs, and a designated safe space where he can feel secure.
