Name: Floki
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Colour: White black
Age: 11 Years (as of Oct 2025)
When Floki was first rescued, he was found lying weakly in a drain — frail, exhausted, and in need of help. With care and treatment, he’s regained his strength and now enjoys the gentle comforts of human affection.
Floki has been diagnosed with chronic flu, which means he experiences recurrent nasal discharge and sneezing. While he’s otherwise bright and affectionate, there is a possibility of passing the infection to other cats if the mucus carries bacteria. Because of this, Floki should ideally be the only cat in the household, or live in a home with no other cats with compromised immunity.
Despite his condition, Floki remains a loving and expressive companion. He adores gentle pats and attention but will let you know when he’s had enough — politely placing a paw on your hand as if to say, “that’s enough for now.” It’s his charming way of keeping the balance between affection and independence.
Floki deserves a quiet, patient home where he can live comfortably and receive the love he’s waited so long for. With the right care, he’ll make a wonderful companion who asks for nothing more than kindness and understanding.

To ensure their safety and welfare, interested parties are required to fully mesh their windows and house gate to prevent the likelihood of “high rise syndrome”. This happens when cats get gravely injured or lose their lives after a fall from height. Videos/Photos of all the meshing or measurements of grilles have to be provided for verification before adoption can be finalized. Please refer to this article for meshing recommendations - https://spca.org.sg/resources/dont-let-them-take-the-fall-for-you-cats-do-not-have-nine-lives/.
Note: With effect from 1 September 2024, all adopters will be required to license their cats at the point of adoption. Interested adopters are strongly encouraged to watch and complete a one-time free video online https://go.gov.sg/petownershipcourse
