Ace is a lovable, calm companion who’s looking for his forever home!
Though he was surrendered by his previous owner due to food guarding, Ace has shown great progress while staying at our shelter.
Ace is a quick learner and responds well to basic commands like "sit" and "down." He loves attention and enjoys spending time with his humans, often following them around as they go about their day.
Wary of strangers, you would need multiple interactions before realizing his true personality. Although he may act like a playful child at times, he’s really a big furbaby at heart, eager to share his love and affection with his family.
Ace would do best in an single pet, all adult household. We highly recommend working with a trainer who uses non-aversive methods to continue building his confidence and help manage his food guarding.
