Breed: Local
Colour: Brown White Tabby
Age: 2 years 4 months (as of Jan 2023)

Starlynn says:
I was brought to the SPCA after a good Samaritan saw that I was having seizures. Since then, my condition has stabilised with the help of anti-seizure medication which I’ll have to take for the rest of my life, with blood tests every 6 months to a year to ensure the dosage remains adequate. I’m also partially blind and will need help finding my food and water. It’ll be great if my new family can provide a stable physical environment so that I get used to where objects are and avoid bumping into them. I will also need to be kept strictly indoors. My guardians say I am very affectionate and hope I’ll find a family that will reciprocate my love for them. Once when my guardian opened the cage door, I nearly fell out trying to get to her to give her a hug ?

To ensure their safety and welfare, interested parties are required to fully mesh all their windows and gate (full height) to prevent the likelihood of “high rise syndrome”. This happens when cats get gravely injured or lose their lives after a fall from height.

Videos/Photos of all the meshing or measurements of grilles have to be provided for verification before adoption can be finalized. Please refer to this article for meshing recommendations – https://spca.org.sg/resources/dont-let-them-take-the-fall-for-you-cats-do-not-have-nine-lives/.
