Animal Type: Canine
Animal Name: Cookie
Gender: Male
Color: Cream
Breed: French Bulldog
Age: 5 years old
Training: No
Microchip: Yes

Medical History: 1. Chronic skin allergy with regular fungi/yeast infection and multiple lumps (sebaceous cyst) on his body. Needs to be on hypoallergenic diet, bathe with sensitive skin shampoo and on immunotherapy for the next 3 – 5 years to improve his allergy response. (injection every 21 days, cost ~$1400/year). Skin/folds on face needs to be cleaned often to prevent buildup of dirt.
2. Intervertebral disk disease (IVDD) with compressed disc at the lower part of his spine (common for this breed) that happened in June 2020 and June 2021. Went for spine surgery both times and regained full mobility and function of his hind legs. Need to ensure that he is not overweight and avoid any jumping to prevent future reoccurrence. No further follow up treatment required.
Personality: Likes humans and is friendly/curious to everyone. Enjoys being pet and massaged. Easy to walk without leash as he will always wait/follow owner. Easy going with food, eats most things but owner needs to be very careful of what to feed him due to his skin allergy.
Dislikes being carried (he is quite heavy anyway), showers and cleaning ears.
