Thank you for your interest in adopting an animal from SPCA.
The animals that are up for adoption can be viewed on our adoption gallery.
Do note that some of these animals may be adopted or could be pending adoption as you are reading their profiles.
As we receive a high volume of calls daily (some of them are general enquiries, while others may concern reports of animal cruelty/animals in distress/lost and found animals), we reserve our limited resources to answering calls of distress, to make sure we help the animals, which need help. As such, we do not have a dedicated service for informing people when a specific animal or breed is available.
If you do not find a suitable animal on the adoption gallery now, please do check back in a couple of days as the site is updated regularly.
We strongly encourage potential adopters to pay a visit to our shelter at 50 Sungei Tengah Road, to get acquainted with the animals that they would like to adopt. To locate us, please click onto this link.
Prospective adopters will also need to keep an open mind about adoption.
Adoption is not immediately guaranteed but nevertheless, it will be a good experience for you and your family as far as interaction with our animals are concerned.
We believe that our animals and individuals must be comfortable with each other and have a connection. Finding the perfect pet companion may take up to more than one visit, to find the animal that is suited for you and your family.
Do also note that we do not have a reservation policy, and our animals are available on a first come, first served basis, subject to our staff and adoption counselors’ recommendations.
Adoption procedures and details can be found here.

A pet is a lifetime commitment. You may also want to read up more about general pet care at this link prior to adopting a pet.
We wish you the best of luck, with your adoption.
