Why are there no toy breeds for adoption?

Toy breed dogs are in high demand. This is understandable as 80 per cent of our population stays in Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats which only permit one small breed dog. Most toy breeds that are available for adoption are usually adopted within one or two days of being on display. In view of this, it is advisable to call the Shelter Office at 62875355 ext. 24 to enquire as to whether there are any toy breed dogs available before you visit.

Visit our adoption page for more information.
