Jam
Gender: Male
Breed: Cross Breed
Colour: Black/Tan
Age: 3 yrs 5 mths
Not HDB Approved

Jam is afraid of unfamiliar people and will need time to warm up to his new family. He is very excited when he sees other dogs and needs to be taught how to behave appropriately when meeting his four-legged friends, using reward-based training.

Jam is doing well with force free training - many things that he found scary before don't seem to be unsafe anymore. He is also making continuous improvement in walking calmly at his handler’s side. Jam would do best with a family that is patient with him and will continue his force free training.

LIKES:

  • Spending time with familiar people
  • Showing off my tricks and getting my rewards
  • Non-squeaky chew toys

AVOID:

  • Petting me as I am not comfortable yet
  • Coming too close when I am not familiar with you (I will walk away from you)

This dog marked Adoption By Appointment (ABA) will require you to make a prior appointment to view and interact with him. Yora
Gender: Female
Breed: Cross Breed
Colour: Black/White
Age: 4 yrs 6 mths
Not HDB Approved

Yora is a little shy around strangers, but take some time to get to know her and you'll be rewarded with her heart-warming smile and her wagging tail. Not just a pretty face, she also has a multitude of tricks under her belt. She's friendly towards other dogs but would prefer not to share her food, and is always eager to play and work for treats. Yora is afraid of loud noises and thunderstorms, but has been working on it and is no longer fazed by big trucks. Already on her way to becoming a proper lady, Yora will blossom even more with lots of love and training.

Randy
Gender: Male
Breed: Cross Breed
Colour: Brown
Age: 2 yrs 7 mths
Not HDB Approved

Randy is your typical cross breed boy who is happy and good-natured. He likes other dogs and just lives for his daily walks! He loves to explore and is quite adventurous. Randy is looking for an active family who will take him out at least once a day on walks and give him loads of affection!
He would be a perfect buddy and companion.

Tye
Gender: Male
Breed: Cross Breed
Colour: Brown
Age: 2 yrs 9 mths
Not HDB Approved

Tye has grown into a handsome pup without losing the exuberance of his younger self. Given his nature, it is safe to say that there is nothing he enjoys more than playtime with other friends, and having a patient human by his side while he learns to be brave in unfamiliar environments. With consistent and humane approaches, he has been learning to be comfortable with handling and is slowly but surely gaining confidence in the process – not without a trick or two in the bag!

LIKES:

  • Greeting and playing with most other dogs
  • Learning new tricks (and what a quick learner too!)
  • Open spaces to run about and explore

AVOID:

  • Entering his kennel without supervision
  • Quick, sudden movements that can startle or excite him to jump
  • Forcing a collar/harness on him as he can be frightened
  • Pulling him if he stalls as he will struggle with the leash

Feeling slightly under the weather? Let Happy cheer you up! Happy loves interacting with blue Pitt people and is friendly with people. He is especially treat-motivated and you will find that
force-free training works well with him. He does gets excited at the beginning when he
meets new people, so do wait for him to be calm before any interaction.

LIKES:

  • Going out on walks
  • Positive treat that reinforces calm behavior

AVOID:

  • Entering the kennel immediate upon first contact. Instead, wait till four paws on ground before reinforcing with treats. Repeat a few times before entering.
  • Openly displaying a treat pouch as Happy will concentrate on and attempt to consume it.
  • Letting him jump on you, instead leave the kennel and enter again only when calm
