SPCA Appeals for Witnesses

On Monday, 24 April 2017, at about 10:00 pm, we received a call informing us of a wounded cat at Lorong 20, Geylang, in the vicinity of Golden Dragon Hotel. Two red rubber bands were tied around the neck of the young male cat, causing a deep cut around the neck area.

*Under the Animals and Birds Act, anyone who is found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.*

SPCA Appeals for Witnesses

On Saturday morning, 18 Feb 2017, SPCA responded to a case of a cat found injured with her intestines exposed, at level 16 of Blk 92 Henderson Road.

On Friday 3 Mar 2017, at approximately 4.30am, a cat was found dead by his owner at the void deck, near the staircase landing of Blk 93 Henderson Road. The cat was allowed out of their unit but never returned.

SPCA Appeals for Witnesses

On Wednesday, 22 February 2017, at about 11:45pm, SPCA received a call from a member of the public that a Cocker Spaniel with a brown harness was left unattended at Blk 1 Maude Road. She was unable to walk due to the extent of her matted her, is blind in one eye, and has severe dental disease. It appears that she was severely neglected before possibly being abandoned.
