MERCHANDISE OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and monitor sales booth at various venues/events to ensure successful completion
  • Managed the inventory and ensure good store keeping practices.
  • Managed online store and seasonal sales efforts.
  • Sourcing and coordinating the efforts of designers/vendors/committee members for new items
  • Taking care of the shop at the premises 

Requirements:

  • Ability to coordinate and work with various partners and people of different cultures.
  • Physically fit and competent in common computer softwares.
  • Diploma in Retails Studies or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience an added advantage.

INSPECTOR

SPCA’s Inspector plays a crucial role in protecting animals in Singapore. You will respond to feedback from the public regarding animal cruelty and welfare, approximately 60 – 80 cases are received every month. The work is challenging but rewarding as you will have an opportunity to make meaningful change to the lives of animals. Join our animal welfare team to start making a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigation of animal cruelty and welfare cases
  • Inspection of animal related establishments
  • Working closely with government agencies, the police, complainants, owners and the community
  • Assisting with policy research and analysis, and animal welfare advocacy

Requirements:

  • Passion for animal welfare
  • Experience working with animals an advantage
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good problem solving capabilities
  • Police/enforcement background an advantage
  • Minimum ‘A’ Levels/Diploma
  • Valid Class 3 manual driving licence with 2 years clean record

FUNDRAISING OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • Development of fundraising department including strategy, processes and structure.
  • Establish, maintain and expand fundraising and marketing database.
  • Interaction with other departments for the flow of information required by the fundraising department.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree
  • Passion for animal welfare
  • Preferably 2 years of working experience in Fundraising, Marketing or Communications would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels

HR & ADMIN OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • All human resource matters including recruitment & selection and assisting with staff performance management, training & development
  • Insurance and medical claims matters
  • Accounts and administration support
  • IT and telephone system support
  • Building maintenance services

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of IT
  • Knowledge of ReadyPay payroll software will be an advantage

ANIMAL RESCUE OFFICER

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Attend to cases of animals that are sick, injured or in distress (animal rescue).
  • Investigate cruelty cases and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Perform general driving duties in line with operations at the SPCA.
  • Maintenance of vehicles and equipment assigned to you.

Requirements:

  • Passion for animal welfare
  • Applicants must possess a valid class 3 manual driving license with 2 years clean driving record.
  • GCE 'O' and above.
  • Able to handle dogs, cats & other animals with relevant experience
  • Speaks fluently and able to write clearly and concisely.
  • Able to exhibit professionalism and is friendly over the phone and in person.
  • Be able to work rotating shifts –am / pm & nite (including weekend, public holidays and after hours duty).
  • 5 days work week.
  • Training will be provided.

ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • Updating & maintenance of proper accounting, database and other records
  • Accounts related data-entry & reconciliation
  • Manage payment process and petty cash
  • Maintain proper fixed-asset records
  • Involvement in audit preparation, stock-take, merchandise/donation/fundraising projects

 Requirements:

  • ‘O’ , ‘A’ Level, or equivalent
  • 2 years’ relevant experience in accounting or finance or banking
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills to interact at all levels
  • High level of competence in PC applications software.
